Edith's
Room
A renowned cook and
innkeeper,
Edith Palmer began the Inn back in 1948. Edith's room is named in her
honor and it is one of the most requested rooms. The morning sun will
gently greet you. The old iron and brass bed
in this upstairs room has been in Virginia City for well over a
century. The bathroom is of generous size and has a bathtub/shower.

While filming the Misfits
in nearby Dayton, Marilyn Monroe stayed at the Inn. Marilyn's

room
in the afternoon. There is a hide-a-way twin bed so the room can sleep

Maggie
Belle's Room
Pat's grandmother, Maggie Belle,
is
the namesake of this room. She was a registered nurse and the daughter
of California pioneers. This
downstairs room is distinguished by a bay window which overlooks the
courtyard. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.

Evelyn's
Room
This room is named after
Leisa's mother, Evelyn. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII
welding tanks and later, after moving to Nevada, she became a nurse.
Even though this is our smallest room, guests describe this room as
very comfortable and cozy. You enter the room through a
private
entrance on the courtyard. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.
